By the way, is this a pure Water type here? I would say Water/Poison but as awesome as Tentacool/Tentacruel is, they kinda dominate the territory. These things actually look Monkey-ish. Water/Fighting? (Oh wait, that's Poliwrath)

Actually, if your up to it, I want to see a Firefly Mantis. Fire Bug. I've gone over it's Effectiveness Stats and it's actually pretty awesome.

I'm not actually very good but I'd like to give it a shot.

About the typing, I was thinking Water/Poison too, but also thought of Tentacool/Cruel.
So I figure, maybe I can differentiate them with stats?

I'm thinking high Sp.Atk, low Def/Sp.Def, and high Speed to boot.

What do you think?

Maybe this thing could be Water/Grass. That's odd for a starter, and taken by Lotad, but Lotad's string is ignored and it LOOKS like a grass type with those leaves hanging off of it.

If we {lol, we} do go Water/Poison, I suggest a Low Health, High Specials.

It's such a pity they look like leaves, they don't in the sketches, even with their green colour.
